Mihail Aleksandrov, 1949

Mihail Aleksandrov is one of the most influential and recognizable Russian painters in the world.
He is collected in more than 20 countries.
Aleksandrov was born in Vilnius, Lithuania.
He attended the Vilnius Art School classes for five years and then studied at the Vilnius Pedagogical Institute.
He received his degree in Russian Language and Literature in 1971.

Robert McGregor | Genre painter

Robert McGregor RSA (1847-1922) was a Scottish landscape painter, genre painter, portrait painter and marine painter.
His genre was particularly painting working men such as fishermen, shepherds, crofters, pedlars, and farm labourers.
However he also painted Scottish, French and Dutch country and coastal scenery.
He usually signed his work in the right hand bottom corner.

Vadim Markevich, 1969

Vadim Markevich was born in Riga, Latvia.
He graduated from the Lyceum of Arts and Restoration in St. Petersburg, and has exhibited since 1994 in the State Museum of Modern Arts, Minsk.
He went on to study at the Royal College in London in 1999, where he received an expert assessment of his work by Sotheby's.
The artist describes his work as neoclassical; a return to the more traditional style of painting.

È l'inizio di una lungo percorso di ricerca sulle potenzialità della materia cromatica e della rappresentazione pittorica, che lo porterà nel 1971 in Svizzera, favorendo una sua formazione in ambito europeo.

Thomas Faed | Genre painter

Thomas Faed RSA (1826-1900) was a Scottish painter.
Faed was born on 8 June 1826, at Barlay Mill in Gatehouse of Fleet, Kirkcudbrightshire, and was the brother of the artists James Faed, John Faed and Susan Faed.
He received his art education in the school of design, Edinburgh and was elected an associate of the Royal Scottish Academy in 1849.
He went to London three years later, was elected an associate of the Royal Academy in 1861, and academician in 1864, and retired in 1893.

David FeBland, 1949

David FeBland è nato a Londra e si è trasferito negli Stati Uniti all'età di sei anni.
Ha iniziato a dipingere come autodidatta a metà degli anni '80.
Si è diplomato prima presso l’Università della Virginia, negli Stati Uniti e poi presso l’Università di Manchester, in Inghilterra.
Artista completamente autodidatta, FeBland aveva iniziato una carriera in Architettura del Paesaggio e Communication Design, e conduceva programmi radiofonici di jazz, finché, alla metà degli anni Ottanta, ha deciso di diventare un pittore a tempo pieno.

Zygmunt Zaradkiewicz was born in Makow Mazowiecki, Poland.
He graduated at the Faculty of Graphic Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1976).
Works and activity: book illustrations, cartoons, prints, posters, paintings and stage sets.
Debuts in the magazines: "Polska" and "Szpilki" in 1972.
Publications in periodicals and the Polish press, e.g.: "itd", "Karuzela", "Kobieta i Zycie", "Magazyn Rodzinny", "Radar", "Razem", "Rzeczpospolita", "Sukces" (artistic director 1998-2000), "Szpilki", "Sztandar Mlodych", "Zycie Warszawy", as well as abroad: "Pardon" and "Slapstick" (Germany).
