Anton Smit, 1954 | New Futurist sculptor


Anton Smit was born in the Transvaal town of Boksburg, RSA.
Completely self-taught, in 1979 at the age of sixteen he was awarded the first prize in the SA Association of Arts New Signatures Competition.
In 2003 Smit established his own Sculpture Park in South Africa, which is dedicated to exhibiting his life's work, a functioning large-scale studio, alive with his creative passions.

Naomi Fuks Is a contemporary artist applying her unique mixed media techniques over canvas combined with acrylics and chalk drawings.
Naomi began painting at the age of three.
She later studied painting and drawing at the Avni Institute of Art and Design and photography and illustration at the Vital Center for Design Studies in Tel Aviv.
In the first years after graduation, inspired by Gustav Klimt, she specialized in acrylic paints combined with colored pencils.

He studied under Gyula Benczúr and Ludwig von Löfftz at the Academy of Munich.
He lived in Budapest since 1894.

He died and buried in Bodajk, Hungary, where a street bears his name.

Figlio di un umile manovratore di barche sui canali, studiò fino all'età di dodici anni, quando ebbe l'occasione di trovare l'impiego dapprima come garzone di fattoria e poi come fattore.
