Rudi Hurzlmeier, 1952 | Cartoonist / Illustrator

Rudi Hurzlmeier (born in Mallersdorf Abbey, in Bavaria) is a German cartoonist, painter and author.
Hurzlmeier has been dedicated to comic art since the early eighties.
His works have also been acclaimed by classical art critics.
In 2010 he was awarded the German Caricature Prize in Dresden, the most important award for cartoonists in Germany.



As an illustrator, Hurzlmeier has published more than 40 books and illustrated works by Hans Zippert, Thomas Gsella, Wiglaf Droste, Peter Hacks, Harry Rowohlt, Robert Gernhardt and Truman Capote, among others.
His works have been shown in more than 100 individual and thematic exhibitions at home and abroad.
The multiple award-winning artists usually lives in Munich.
















Rudi Hurzlmeier è un fumettista, pittore ed autore Tedesco che si è dedicato all'arte del fumetto fin dai primi anni Ottanta.
Le sue opere sono state acclamate anche dai critici d'arte classici.
Nel 2010 gli è stato conferito il German Caricature Prize a Dresda, il premio più importante per i fumettisti in Germania.
