Juan Benito | Spanish soul

Il pittore Spagnolo Juan Benito è nato in Castiglia. Compie i suoi studi artistici a Madrid e scopre l'affascinante mondo delle arene e dei toreri.

Negli anni '70, il pittore ha lavorato a Saint-Tropez e poi a Montmartre.

Fu in questo grande quartiere di artisti parigini che la sua opera fu scoperta da uno dei più grandi mercanti d'arte dell'epoca, Katia Granoff.

Quest'ultima espose le opere di Benito nella sua galleria oltre a Marc Chagall.

I suoi viaggio lo hanno portato ai quattro angoli del mondo: è andato in Messico, Stati Uniti, Canada, Costa Rica ecc.... poi è tornato in Francia e si è stabilito in Camargue, dove attualmente vive.

La Camargue lo ispira, come ha ispirato il famoso pittore spagnolo: Pablo Picasso. Con il suo approccio artistico, scelse l'Arlesienne come suo soggetto preferito.

Nei suoi dipinti ad olio, gli Arlesiani appaiono discreti e maestosi, con splendidi abiti luminosi.

Altri motivi compaiono anche nei suoi pezzi; raffigura guardiani, Sevillanas e paesaggi della Camargue Con le sue composizioni figurative e delicate, Juan Benito ha saputo vivere della sua arte in tutto il mondo trovando sempre pubblico e committente.

Oggi continua a dipingere ed espone le sue opere nel sud della Francia.

Born in Castille, a Spanish painter Juan Benito made his artistic studies in Madrid and discovered the fascinating world of arenas and toreros.

During the 70s, the painter worked in Saint-Tropez and then in Montmartre. It was in this great neighborhood of Parisian artists that his work was discovered by one of the greatest art dealers of that time, Katia Granoff.

The latter exhibited the work of Benito in her gallery besides Marc Chagall.

His journey has taken him to the four corners of the world: he went to Mexico, the United States, Canada, Costa Rica etc.... then, he returned to France and settled in Camargue, where he currently lives.

Camargue inspires him, like it inspired the famous Spanish painter: Pablo Picasso. With his own artistic approach, he chose the Arlesienne as his favorite subject.

In his oil paintings, the Arlesiennes appear discreet and majestic, with gorgeous bright dresses.

Other motifs appear in his pieces as well; he depicts guardians, Sevillanas and landscapes of Camargue.

With his figurative and delicate compositions, Juan Benito has been able to live from his art all around the world always finding public and clients.

Today, he continues to paint and exhibits his work in the South of France.
