Mona Edulesco è una pittrice ed architetto Rumena che vive in Francia, nella città di Lione.

- "Il mio stile è impressionista moderno, semi-astratto ed in alcuni casi con influenze espressioniste.

Sono affascinata dalle trame esplosive e dall'intenso cromatico che esploro per reinventare lavorando il mezzo della pittura ad olio.

La tecnica di pittura ad olio con spatola che ho sviluppato negli anni conferisce espressività ai miei quadri e un sorprendente aspetto tridimensionale.

Può essere visto come una forma di impressionismo materico, poiché utilizzo spessi strati di pittura ad olio per ottenere un movimento vibrante nelle mie opere.

La maggior parte della mia opera si concentra sulla vita cittadina e sugli spazi urbani".

Inoltre, mi piace applicare e sviluppare le mie capacità attraverso l'esplorazione di altri soggetti come nature morte, fiori, animali, paesaggi e figure.

Amo vagare da una città all'altra, scoprire posti nuovi e rivisitare il vecchio per poi esprimere queste esperienze emotive nei miei quadri.

La mia formazione professionale di Architetto mi ha permesso di approfondire e di cogliere la tematica Città in tutta la sua complessità.

Nei miei paesaggi urbani unisco l'esperienza dei concetti di disegno architettonico con la libertà, la forza e l'energia che la pittura con il coltello da tavolo mi permette di esprimere in un mondo di toni e sfumature colorate.
