Mikki Senkarik illustrated 47 major medical textbooks and in her nine years as a medical illustrator was honored 5 times with the Award🎨 of Excellence by her peers.

Before switching to oils she was the most sought after medical artist during her years of practice.

She says, "There is nothing accidental about quality".

Senkarik had dreamed of being an artist as long as she can remember. Her mother recognized the spark of genius before Mikki entered kindergarten.

Instead of providing her daughter with coloring books, Mikki was given paper, pencils and objects to draw. From that day forward her thirst to become an artist grew until she reached college.

At the University her professors scoffed at realism, demanding she paint the ‘meaning of life’, etc.

Senkarik incorporates her mate’s double primary color mixing system of yellow, red and blue plus white, which gives her original oils vibrancy and purity not achievable with earth pigments.

Senkarik’s rocket to the top in such a brief time can be attributed to her dedication for excellence and impassioned desire to be the best she can be.
