Victor Gilbert (1847-1935)

Victor Gabriel Gilbert was a French painter🎨 mostly known for their Parisian scenes and portraying market scenes there.
He studied with Victor Adam (1801-1866) and subsequently with the Charles Busson (1822-1908).
In 1889 he was awarded🎨 a silver medal in the Societe Artistes Français, and a Bonnat prize in 1926, at the end of his career.





















Victor Gabriel Gilbert (13 febbraio 1847 - 21 luglio 1933) è stato un pittore Francese🎨 noto soprattutto per le sue scene parigine e per le sue scene di mercato.
Ha studiato con Victor Adam (1801-1866) e successivamente con Charles Busson (1822-1908).
Nel 1897 Victor Gilbert fu nominato Cavaliere della Legione d'Onore.
Nel 1889 gli fu conferita una medaglia🎨 d'argento alla Societe Artistes Français ed il premio Bonnat nel 1926, alla fine della sua carriera.
