Alan Giana | The edge of Fantasy

L'artista multimediale acclamato a livello internazionale Alan Giana è nato e cresciuto nel Connecticut. Una delle sue prime opere risale a quando Alan aveva solo quattro anni: con un pennarello cominciò a scarabocchiare sul muro.

Il padre di Alan è un noto artista di ceramica. Alan guardava spesso suo padre applicare smalti e diverse tecniche di pittura per creare i suoi capolavori. Durante i suoi anni di scuola Alan era sempre attratto dal disegno e dalla pittura.

Ha frequentato il college per studiare la progettazione grafica e la gestione aziendale. Con una laurea in gestione grafica, Alan ha iniziato la propria attività di illustrazione e progettazione nei primi anni '90 con la moglie Pamela.

Negli anni Alan ha lavorato ad una serie di illustrazioni commerciali e progetti di design. Le sue creazioni sono apparse su copertine di libri, riviste, giochi per bambini, CD musicali, e sono stati pubblicati in numerosi libri e riviste relative al meglio della aerografo tradizionale e della illustrazione digitale.

L'amore di Alan per la natura ed il mare è sempre stato una parte importante della sua vita.

L'apprezzamento per la bellezza che ci circonda, anche nel cortile di casa nostra, svolge un ruolo importante nella creazione delle opere d'arte di cui oggi è conosciuto.

Alan Giana's unique and colorful style has made him one of today's most popular scenic artists. Born and raised in Connecticut, Alan Giana always wanted to be an artist.

One of his first works of art was at the age of four when he grabbed a magic marker and proceeded to scribble on the wall with it. Needless to say his parents were not too happy, but a career was set in motion. Alan's father is an accomplished ceramic artist.

Alan often watched his father apply glazes and different painting techniques to create his masterpieces. Throughout his school years Alan was always drawing and painting. He went on to college to study graphic design and business management. With a degree in graphic design management, Alan started his own illustration and design company in the early 1990's with his wife Pamela.

Through the years, Alan has worked on a variety of commercial illustration and design projects. His creations have appeared on book covers, magazines, children's games, music CDs, and have been published in several books and magazines showcasing the best in traditional airbrush and digital illustration.

The work of this master has won many awards, including the Pro-Comm Award of Excellence by the Business Marketing Association, the Premier Print Award by the Printing Industries of America, and the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Best Toy Award. Alan's paintings have been displayed in numerous galleries and shows around the country, including The Delaware Art Museum.

Alan's love of nature and the sea have always been a big part of his life. His appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us, even in our own backyards, plays an important part in creating the inspiring artwork he is known for today.
